Have anyone used Pennywise Power. We were shopping at PowertoChoose and Pennywise power has the lowest rate.

Anyone used this service provider? How is their service?
We're in Clear Lake area.

MNCold.

OT..But...

After Pennywise the Clown, I can't believe anyone would use that name.

Carry on.

The rate is 8.7cents with 12 months fixed rate.
By the way, I think the name is funny too. That's why I asked about this provider.

What's the story with Pennywise the Clown? I just moved here so I don't know.

I also think the name is humorous, given that the idiom is "penny-wise, pound-foolish".

Pennywise power is owned by NRG, the same company that owns Reliant and Green Mountain. They pretty much have the lowest rates right now. Looks like a safe bet.

I signed up with them and have had nothing but trouble. I am on auto draft and they charged me a late fee even though paymemt came out on due date. Now my next bill I am being charged for last month even though that was already paid-on time! It is nearly impossiblle to get through to someone on phone. It is a terrible experience.
