I put down Allure Traffic Master vinyl planks (country pine) in August 2013 . The flooring has not held up at all. I have areas where the flooring shrunk leaving up to a 1/8 gap and bad scratches from my recliner chair. A standard recliner with a 5 point legs with plastic tips has scorn the floor past a simple repair. Plus I have scratches from plastic wheels rolling back and forth. This is very sad for after spending the money at home depot for 14 boxes and a weekend of labor to have this happen. If you stand at one end of the room and look down at a 45 degree angle in the light you can see wear marks the length of the room.

Has anyone found who to contact as far warranty on this . Looking for a direction to go in, went back home depot and they were not much help.

John

Since you purchased it from HD, I would be contacting them for warranty. There are different grades of vinyl flooring, the more expensive is scratch resistant, among other qualities. Sounds like they sold you the low price stuff..

Home Depot probably isnt required to make good on the warranty. You'll need to contact Allure.

The warranty info should have been included in the paperwork that came with the boxes. Be sure to have your proof of purchase receipt, as well.

To be perfectly honest, any flooring product that's only $1.79/sq ft (as well as the fact that only Home Depot sells it) probably isnt going to wear well.

I purchased a few boxes of their 12 x 12 tiles for a small bathroom and closet. When I opened the box and started laying things out, I noticed about 75% of the tiles were warped beyond being usable. I took it back and bought a higher quality product to use.

It seems as though the manufacturer has very poor quality standards for their products.

Default Don't use this product without research Allure Plank

Wow what a great product I thought, it was inexpensive, went down in a heartbeat and looks wonderful and is even kind to the feet.

NOT - after only one year it is coming apartat the seams literaly. The one inch overlap that has the glue on it is breaking and cracking in areas where we walk, we have rugs on top now to prevent further damage but this floor is no good. I am persueing ALLURE and HOME DEPOT for warranty or replacement of this none functional floor.

I followed all of the directions, let them sit in the room for a week and it was June so I am sure it was warm enough. I did use a padding that is recommended for floating flooring and is in the directions.

SORRY THIS IS A NO GO!
