Big win last night to get a little bit of seperation in the playoff standings.... very good chance we will be facing the Flyers in round 1... home ice advantage would be nice considering we seem to have their number at home.
Hey... how about Ryan freakin' McDonagh? I think it's time for the NHL to seriously consider him as a Norris Trophy Candidate.
Still shocks me that Montreal traded him to us for Scott Gomez... talk about a steal of a trade.
Yeah it was a succesful west trip... 2-1-1... the 2 losses were definitely tough to swallow. The regulation loss to Calgary we surrendered I the game winning goal with less than 30 secs. to go into the game... then last night Colorado tied it with under a minute left in the game.
2-3 points we left on the table there but we had a great trip.. if I did the math correctly just 1 more point in the past 4 games clinches a playoff birth.
Yes it was nice to see Richards and St. Louis playing aggressive and confidently last night. The Rangers need this in the worst way come playoff time for these guys to be at the top of their game.
Another win for the Blueshirts, another game blacked out 2 hours north of the Garden because the NHL still insists this is Sabres territory, 6 hours from Buffalo.
Teams closer to me than the Sabres: Rangers, Islanders, Devils, Bruins, Flyers, Canadiens.
