It's like what, $36/month for 4 months right? That's like only 10 trips to Starbucks! I don't know...I can find something to cut out for hockey!
I dont know how much it is, but I'd be the one having to pay, and im on a budget, Gas, food, cell phone bill, looking for a new car, college. Havent found a job still thanks to all the migrates who flock here without a job. Maybe once im out on my own

ESPN, FOX, and VERSUS are all horrible. The local stations and CBC are way better. Remember the "NHL on FOX"? God, those announcers were somehow worse than VERSUS. They got super excited over everything, had that stupid color radar puck scheme, and those ridiculous robots. I do not miss those days...
Yep, I remember the FoxTrax and the Robots, Fox didnt use the glow-pucks their last season with the NHL, those things lasted like 5 minutes. I dont know what the point of of using the robots were for, but Fox uses them for the NFL as well.
Definitely a low-point in sports broadcasting history. I was fairly young then and even I was wondering why the hell there were transformers in my hockey broadcast.
Good point. If the NHL were to go back to ESPN, they would have to move to ABC as well, and the NBA and college ball are covered by these two channels. I'd love to see it on TBS or USA however.
ESPN is all about making sure nobody else gets a stray nickle. What they have done with rights to College hockey is a real sore spot with me. They don't really want to show hockey, and they want to make sure nobody else does either. nice.
<< Here's a grand solution....Center Ice Package!!!>>
We were going to get this, BUT, our cable provider (Charter) doesn't offer it in our area. Because of that we are seriously considering switching to direct tv.

You should...cable just sucks anyway. The ONLY reason anyone should still have cable is if they really want the extra bit of bandwidth for internet over dsl.
