Hope springs eternal in Canuck fans' breasts. The Jets are a very good team and Toronto is close to becoming a real force. Of the two, I think the Jets have the best chance this year. But both should contend for years to come.

Well that's exactly what they were saying about the Oil....last year.

True enough. Nobody predicted such a sharp drop-off from them.

This Jets team is so big. Largest (in height) team in the entire NHL this year. I hated playing against big a-- ogres like that. I wasn't "small" per se (I am 6') but big goons like that always annoyed me.

I don't see the Jets losing to anyone other than the Bolts, and the Bolts might not even be able to beat Helleybuck.

They4e busy trying to beat Holtby first. The Bolts haven’t looked very good so far.

Before this season I would’ve said Toronto, but their playoff “run” was very disappointing and now their front office is in disarray with Sweet Lou basically being forced out. Still have a great HC in Babcock and during the off season if they can get a top line Defenseman, we will see.

Winnipeg has a solid team. They should be a contender barring some unforeseen mishaps for the next 3-5 years.

As of right now if I were a betting man I'd put my $$ on them w/ Toronto being a wild-card.

Same here. Toronto can become scary in the upcoming seasons provided they keep their core intact and make some improvements in goal.

Other than that, the Habs are irreparable in the near future, and the Canucks and Oilers are just not good. Calgary is decent, but needs more depth.
