Coldest city in the planet with over 700K people? Ulan Bator says hello! And Harbin (a city I visited in the winter before as well) gets just as cold as Winnipeg but has at least 5 million residents...
I do know about how difficult it is for places like Winnipeg to attract top level sports talent. But I do like the way the management is handling and developing the talent they've been dealt. They seem to take the slow and steady approach to building a team, and I think they will definitely keep the division on their toes for a number of years at the least...
