The Blues might be a little worried considering how the Blackhawks have history of being down in a series and coming back to win it all. If I was a betting man, I would take the experience of the Hawks in game 7 and it would be another disappointing first round loss for the Blues.

A fourth consecutive first round postseason exit should be enough for the Blues to separate from Ken Hitchcock. The Blues are capable of qualifying for postseason play. They have not been able to advance deep enough to make significant impact.

I think the Blues will re-hire Hitchcock for a 1-3 year contract.
Hitchcock is returning for one more season. He will retire from coaching at the end of the 2016-2017 season.
