Maybe that way the Flyers can keep him in net games 1-82 and when they get the high seed put Boucher in for the playoffs

Leighton resigned. Guess no Naby

The Hockey News: Headlines: Flyers sign goalie Michael Leighton to 2-year deal, keeping him from free agency

I like the guy. He's the type I root for due to his past, his nice family, etc. However, I still don't think he's got the skills to be a starter. He can't cover the short side. Holmgren has given the impression that if the Flyers can't sign another goaltender he'll be satisfied with Leighton as the number one guy. Scary.

Boogaard to the Rangers and Shelley to the Flyers.
That could be fun.

It's interesting how about half of the NHL isn't involved in these sweepstakes at all......

Still waiting on Kovalchuk..and Nabakov....and Turco.....

I also think that Atlanta has virtually a brand new team..

The Rangers give a 1.65M multiyear contract to an enforcer

I just read that Kovalchuk is looking for $9 million/year contract. I just don't know if one player is worth that....

Dude Thomas Vanek of Buffalo makes $7 mil/year.. And thats way over priced even for Kovalchuk...

Buffalo is now without its top Defensemen line.
Toni Lydman is now a Duck
Henrik Tallinder is now a Devil

Once again Buffalo's manager didnt do $#!? and sat on his ass, cuz he doesn't know how to pick up the damn phone and make a damn deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
