Nose bleeds can be from dryness, picking, or high blood pressure as mentioned here. Usually all those cases are manageable and involve only one nostril. If you or anyone you're with ever has a nose bleed that involves BOTH nostrils then you should get medical attention immediately.
For me the nosebleeds, bad ones, meant high blood pressure and meds were needed.
Can't say I felt sick, or any different than usual, but I didn't have many as a kid then
they started in my late 50's. One so bad it wouldn't stop, went to the ER, they had to cauterize it.
Anyway I've been on the blood pressure meds for years now and so far I haven't have any more
trouble, hope it continues to be okay...
