Is your nose broken? (xray, painful, my throat, blood)

How do you know for sure? I read up on it and it seems there are certain symptoms and an xray doesn't always tell you.

My bf and his son and I were goofing around about an hour ago and I got an elbow to the nose. I heard a crack and there is much pain.

Hurts worse on the right side. Painful in general as well as to the touch. There was blood. Not a huge amount.

It tastes like there is blood going down my throat. I know, gross.

My eyes started watering right away. A little dark under the eyes, but I am normally like that as it is.

I blew my nose and it feels full. There is nothing in there. Nausea and headache.

Sounds broken! And it's not always "bone" that breaks in your nose--much of your nose is cartlidge...
Put ice on it, and see how it looks when the swelling goes down. If it's not "out of alignment", then I'm not sure what could be done for it. If, after the swelling goes down, you are still having trouble breathing through your nose, go see a doctor!
