I've also been looking forward to having a Popeye's near me.

I've been eating at the Popeye's in Boiling Springs, SC fairly often since it opened and it has been hit or miss. On my last visit the chicken was freshly cooked but the pieces were small and the crust tasted burnt. The cups for the sides seem smaller now and they only fill them 2/3 full.

I've been quite happy when trying other locations (Atlanta airport / Baton Rouge) so I think it is just poor management.

looks like Upstate Craft Beer Company changed its name to Eighth State Brewing Company. Not sure if it is a rebranding or new ownership.

THE EIGHTH STATE BREWING COMPANY is a trademark of UPSTATE CRAFT BEER, LLC. Filed July 22, 2018.

Anyway, perhaps the owners thought the "Upstate" moniker was too limiting.

Upstate Craft Beer was a super boring generic name for a craft brewery!

They should take over the Army/Navy store. That placeis disgusting. I don't know how it even stays in business. Of course, that's just my opinion.

That store is a downtown landmark - it's been there forever and I would be sad if it was no longer there.
