Yep, that's it. He bought it a year ago and has been gradually making small changes to the menu and did some interior renovation. Or as JP would say:

Welcome to 4 Corners. I'm proud to welcome you to 4 Corners where we feature distinctive flavors of the southwest from Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah. This area is known as the 4 Corners because all the states meet there. We are proud to not only serve the best from this area but to also mirror the hospitality they are known for. I've put my name on this restaurant with the goal you find your meail, service, and experience "just perfect"! - Jim Peterson

They had Thomas Creek Brewery beer tasting outside tonight.

It amazes me how much stuff we are willing to throw out in America that other countries would die to have.
Most of what they have in there is meats, vegetables and other perishable goods. Those are items I am not buying at a place like that.

Things like day-old bread.. canned goods (which basically never go bad if not opened).. No problems with.

They are doing a lot of site work on the lot beside Walmart and next to CVS in Powdersville. I've heard this rumored as either a Quick Trip or a Chick-Fil-A. Anyone know what this is going to be?

Both QuikTrip and Chick-fil-A are confirmed to be going up along South Carolina 153 at that location.

Just curious which one they are working on now. I would guess one is going into the site being worked on now and the other is going into the other vacant spot next to Walmart.

I hope Quick Trip helps lower the gas prices in the area. The gas stations there are pretty consistently 5 to 10 cents higher than just a few miles away in Easley.

I get the feeling that a Chick-Fil-A on 153 is going to take a lot of business away from the Zaxby's just down the street. Zaxby's used to have really good quality for a fast food place but it seems to me their quality has gone downhill in the last 3-4 years.
