Do you know if Fort Worth still has plans for a Street Car? (public transportation) I know that last plans in 2010 fell through due to cost. But it seems (rumored) that the south main urban village includes plans for a street car?

No plans right now, but I'm sure the city council will be ready to commission yet another study any day now so they can ignore the results and do the equivalent of flushing millions down the toilet.

Yeah, kind of figured there would be a whole new process. I wish they could pick up where they left off. I do wonder if there is any Federal Grant Money still left, if I recall correctly last time we were set to get 25million from the US Gov't for our street car/public transportation plan, but unfortunately it only covered a 1/4 of the cost (if I recall correctly). But who knows.

Our current mayor is more dedicated to rail/better public transportation than the previous.

So, maybe it will happen sooner than later... but not too soon.
