Gonna be moving in about 6 months and I'm trying to find the best place for my family. I live in Florida so I am doing this all over the Internet and can really use some opinions.. Thanks

Apples to oranges. Castle Rock is a suburb/exurb of either Denver, or stretching it, Colorado Springs. Ft. Collins is a stand-alone small city and college town.

IIRC, in another thread the OP was asking about the commute from Fort Collins to Golden, so I'll assume the job is in Golden.

The drive from Castle Rock to Golden is 45 miles and a good hour, each way.

Far better to live in/near Golden, a very fine place.
