Picketing.... A 1ST AMENDMENT RIGHT to All CITIZENS as a means of injust or PROTEST. Been there and done that. Ask anyone who has walked the picket line. Steve
I was always told the best defense against slander is the truth. As long as the OP sticks to the truth she should have no problems excercising her rights to picket on public property. Sometimes, joee, one must go beyond merely being 'polite' or excercising nebulous "better ways".
IF she's been wronged and IF the dealer won't take care of it, its "the truth" that will "set her free". But she needs to find out both those "ifs" first. Imo.
Try to return the car to the dealer. If they refuse to take it back you have one VERY GOOD recourse. Park the car at the front curb near the SHOWROOM where potential customers can see the vehicle. With the top down place a sign thru the steering wheel that says "this is a FLOODED car they sold you". Also make a hand painted sign on the situation and PICKET/WALK on the front sidewalk during business hours. You will Get FAST RESULTS. I did this with a LARGE AUTO PARTS store for a $100.00 REBATE that was due me and they gave me the money and a letter of apology which I asked for all within 45 minutes from the time that I started to picket. Try it. They will be a SUCKER since your a female they took advantage of. Good Luck in trying. You have nothing to lose but everything to GAIN. Steve
hahaha thats awsome ! Also just to add get the local news invovled.

Once more the fact that the car was not flooded, it is just heresay, without the proven fact that dealer can show a loss in business due to others actions, posting bail, day in court, lawyer fees, and finally restitution for losses incured by the business owner.
We also have the right to bear arms but we don't go around shooting people if they make us mad, well most of us anyway.
I'm not trying to beat a dead horse here just picketing has a place and time the dealer is not that place for that certain circumstance, but if you feel that is what you yourself needs to do, have at it, happy pickiting.
Yrs past bought many cars with less then 50,000 miles that were one owners and barely broke in and never once did I find the carpet in the trunk GLUED down with heavy amount of GLUE plus with some sand still underneath from the FACYORY!!!!!!!!!! Something does not smell right in my book. My original suggestion still stands. The "1st Amendment" still gives her the right to picket. Steve
