GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The West Michigan Whitecaps say they have no plans to put a warning label on an enormous new hamburger they're selling this season - despite a vegan advocacy group's request to do just that. Susan Levin, a staff dietitian for the Washington-based Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, sent a letter to the Grand Rapids minor-league team on Tuesday.
That story is making big news here locally. I'll agree it is crazy, but at least that keeps the headlines off all the layoffs and business closings. Well, except for the GM dealership that just closed where the employees had a fist fight battle royal with one another.
It's a novelty item...and supposed to be for four or more people. I think having a "warning" is stupid -- nobody is forcing people to pay $20 to stuff their face!
there is a local place that will give you the food free if you eat their giant burger and fries and drink in 30 minutes. i mean i just dont know how they do it--and i love to eat! but seriouly--it's 4 lbs of food in 30 minutes. i cant imagine how i would keep it down.
