THIS is Burger King’s new Black Burger — made with a bamboo charcoal bun and squid ink ketchup.
It’s going on sale in Japan this week to mark the fifth anniversary of the fast food chain’s return to the country.

I've always associated squid ink with Italy. Pasta made with squid ink is yummy. I couldn't find anything from Japan but these posters who think it must be horrible need to do a little exploring. Here's a start.

I think it looks cool! Yeah, squid ink has a kind of iodine tang (oooh, European too!). On beef I dunno, but we should be so creative here. The buns with white sesame seeds must look really amazing.
