Steak Dinners: Ketchup or Steak Sauce? (marinate, better, cheese, country)

Ketchup is for Fries..... a good steak needs nothing but is not common. I'll usually use some steak sauce regardless. I cringe every time I see one of my bunch put ketchup on anything other than fries.

I agree...no condiments on a good steak....however, some sauteed onions and mushrooms are a nice addition....or some melted bleu cheese....mmmm

I like the Horseradish sauce some of the steakhouses offer. Second to that, I'll use a touch of steak sauce or none at all. I prefer some sauteed mushrooms and onions, a good combination of seasonings, yum.

Ketchup? Yuck. I never use ketchup on anything, not even my fries.

Sorry folks, at the risk of being pummeled, I must vote for my beloved ketchup! And yes, I have requested it at fine eating establishments globally and watched the horrified look on the waiter's face.
