What's the best side dishes you like to go along with your steak dinner?

I wanted this to be a multiple option poll, but I hit the submit button a little too fast so you can only pick one item. (sorry)

I listed all the items I like, but feel free to add your own ideas. Or leave it in a comment of everything you like.

When I grill steak, I sometimes grill zucchini also. I brush it with olive oil, and add garlic powder and salt.

I agree with rice also. We sometimes get black beans and pour it on the rice.

A fresh green salad , some sauteed wild mushrooms ( garlic, parsley and herbs) and fresh vegetables. And a fabulous sauce to pour over the steak of course !

I enjoy creamed spinach with a steak and usually oven roasted potatoes with lots of rosemary, and sauted mushrooms and garlic too. Corn on the cob also!!

Love them all but baked potato with butter, sour cream, pepper and chives. Sauteed portabella mushrooms.

Chef salad? Just a regular salad is fine, no extra meats needed on the greens.
How about garlic cheese grits with your steak? Yum!
