Tonight we are having chuck roast with mushroom and red wine gravy, apple coleslaw, scalloped potatoes, and oat dinner rolls. Chocolate- filled beignets for dessert.

Yesterday we picked up a package of bean sprouts, so tonight I can make a nice batch of Egg Foo Yung. I haven't made that in ages. I use chopped Chinese BBQ pork, peas, green onions, Bok Choy and the bean spouts. For the gravy I use Bisto, which is from the UK so it's a multi-cultural meal.

Dinner party was fun! The dip didn't come out good even though I followed directions to the T. Having the leftover rib eye tonight with some mexican corn and the other loaf of french bread
