Did a 12 hours shift today. On the way home, I picked up a chicken pot pie from kfc . I haven't had a pot pie in a long time, and this one from kfc was actually pretty good. It was nice and hot, seems like the perfect thing on this cold winter's day.
Finally, I am back to cooking after a four week hiatus. I have about 30# of produce to use up in the coming week.
Whoa, JL. 30-lbs of produce! That's impressive. It's too late in the year for a garden, so are you a chef? Or, when others go on shopping sprees for socks & bras, do you head for the cherry tomatoes & potatoes instead?
Just purchased a small chest freezer to replace our old fridge/freezer in the garage so this week is clean out old freezer and get organized. Starting with tonight: we are having left over spagetti sause with meat balls plus I will do my usual green salad.
