I know everyone is gone now so it really will be just the two of us tonight. I am having cold slaw for one thing, probably pork chops and a veggie. I have some baby potatoes that are growing sprouts. If I don't use them I am going to toss them, so I might just cream them for spoiled brat.

Good morning everyone good to see you all again. Was visiting family and friends in Germany.
Today is my youngest son's birthday what a special gift to me

Tonight roasted chicken rubbed with butter, salt, black pepper, stuffed with orange, parsley and onion and sitting in a red wine sauce in the oven. Served with mashed potatoes and roasted onion pieces and red cabbage with apples and red wine.( I am very generous with the red wine in my red cabbage). To drink a glass of Ontario local wine. For dessert Disney Recipe: Rice Cream with Strawberry Sauce from Epcot’s Norway | the disney food blog

Happy Birthday to your "baby" Alm. I am glad you got chance to be with your family, it must have been a lovely trip. Good to have you back though! That dinner sounds delicious.

We did an early Valentine's dinner on Saturday (went to my favorite French wine bar/bistro) so tonight it's Chinese take-out. Haven't decided yet what to order though...
