Black vinegar? Hmmh.. sounds interesting. Here's some of our salsa and hot stuff collection.
We keep different vinegars on hand ...not sure if I've seen a black. Not sure we've really given Balsamic a real test.
Sorry the pic is fuzzy!
I got it at the oriental store I only visit when I have to take my canine beast to the vet. While he's being taken care of, I sneak next door for new goodies for me. It's a big 20.2 oz. bottle (oh, it's made it Taiwan)

We had an Oriental store near Kelly and Lackland AFB's down the road a bit. It's gone now. I think I've heard mention of another.
Wife is always grabbing closeouts and reduced items. We have more condiments than actual food.
Seems like someone was asking about Taco Bells sauces lately. We have a bottle of Bold & Creamy Taco Bell sauce. Reminds me we added a Store brand (I think) jalapeno soup to some chicken breast the other day. It was great. Need to get more ...anxious to try it on beef.

Me too. LoL! The open stuff takes up the doors of both fridges, and most of the bottom shelfs. The spice CABINET-not shelf-a whole cabinet. And about a shelf + some in the pantry-which was a coat closet when I bought the house. A coat closet, in the kitchen, in FLORIDA! Duh! What were they thinking? They certainly weren't cooks!
I had to convert it to a pantry. I have so much kitchen "stuff" I had no room for food. Or add on. LOL! (And I live alone!)
You like the hot sauces though. I can't handle them, except some, when I make chili.
The new big hit in our pantry is Pork Barrell BBQ sauce. I picked up a two pack at Costco some weeks back. So far, we've used it on pork roast and pork chops with good results.
I don't belong to the Big Food suppliers; Costco or Sam's. They're about 30 miles away, and it would not be $$ smart of me, being alone and all. I'd have a huge amount of a few things, drain all my $$ and have nothing else. I like variety.
Anyway, my question is, can you get that sauce anywhere else, do you know? It sound so good.
Although I've gotten away from most of the tomato based (is it tomato based?) BBQ sauces for pork, chicken of fish, and have started to create my own more oriental flavored, with pineapple or peach or apricot sauces.
Winter I do like a more hearty based sauce though & would try it if I can find it.
McCormicks has a Worchestershire black pepper seasoning I found at the grocery store today. My husband loves both so I got it for him to use on hamburgers, steaks, whatever. I used some in the soup I cooked today and it is pretty good!
Just visited the Stonewall Kitchen outlet that they have in Rochester NH. The main store is in York, ME but they also are on line and have a wonderful paper catelog. A couple things I picked up are 3 citrus jam, strawberry/rhubarb jam, chocolate/orange fudge sauce and an oatmeal/raisen cookie mix. Check them out on line. They can ship wonderful things for you at Christmas time to those out of state relatives and friends. They will be SO impressed.
nALgirl, let us know how you liked it. Thanks for letting us know about this new product.
It added good flavor to my soup. It smells just like worchestershire sauce (but dry). I can't wait to try on steak
