Anyway, my question is, can you get that sauce anywhere else, do you know? It sound so good.
Although I've gotten away from most of the tomato based (is it tomato based?) BBQ sauces for pork, chicken of fish, and have started to create my own more oriental flavored, with pineapple or peach or apricot sauces.
Winter I do like a more hearty based sauce though & would try it if I can find it.
I just saw this question - sorry for not answering any sooner!

I found the sauce at Costco but it may be at the regular grocery store, too - I haven't looked. I think you can order it online, though. I'll probably have to do that myself because when I went back to Costco a few days ago to pick up a few things, I looked for Pork Barrel sauce and couldn't find it!

Haven't tried it yet, but we have a bottle of Stubb's Pork Marinade. Blend of lemongrass, ginger and soy. May test on our next chops. Found some other brands of Balsamic Vinegars hiding amongst the condiments. We have several bottles of Apple Cider vinegar in our pantry. I love the stuff and use it a lot. Especially in BBQ sauces.

Organic Vietnamese cinnamon. No more plastic bottles from the dollar store!

If it's anything like my pantry, maybe some new growths. LOL

I spy a can of Chicken of the Sea boxed and canned Smoked Oysters-in oil.
I think I remember getting them in some kind of gift basket, but haven't know what to do with them
I like smoked cheeses, salmon, bacon. But don't know what to do with these. And packed in oil??
That sort of turns me off. Although I do like raw oysters & oysters rockefeller.
Any ideas?

I finally made it somewhere we could get whole nutmeg, star anise and annato seed. I also love the way they look in my sealed glass bottles. Now I want to go make some cocoa just so I have a reason to grate some nutmeg! (And it's chilly fall weather.)

Tamarind paste and yuzu juice. No clue what I will do with them yet. I did try to make a dressing with the yuzu juice. It was good. Next time I make an asian inspired chicken noodle soup, I will add it. I also bought something called "greeNoodle," the look like ramen but are high in fiber and a little chewier. they are also not fried.
