Hmmmmm, now there is a wild thought, buying up on turkeys.

It's not standard fare for me except at TG and then I have not cooked one yet, just the precooked birds......but that might be something to explore in the upcoming days.

Thank you. The OP already has this thread going as well:https://www.city-data.com/forum/food...37-pantry.html

There are several others as well. I will merge them and get a master Pantry thread going.

Default What's always in your pantry

Here are my top dozen:

Soup stocks (mostly low sodium)

Beans --various types

Oils--EVOO, Sesame, Canola & spray

Pastas--various, some traditional, some gluten free or veggie-based

Vinegars--red wine, balsamic, apple cider, malt, white

Spices--too many, love spices

Tea--green plus caffeine-free herbal

Sauces--Asian, Mexican, Indian, American (steak & barbeque sauce)

Grains--oatmeal, various rices, lentils, barley, quinoa

Sweeteners--sugar, honey, maple syrup, molasses

Corn meal, flour

Nut butters--peanut, sunflower seed and sometimes almond

Guess those are my basics--do you stock other items??
