After 4 hours of playing the part of the midwife for 5 new kitties I'm exhausted just watching our beloved mama kitty deliver. I took lots of photos during the deliveries and that kept me busy. I'm off for a pre supper nap. I think we will celebrate the occasion with a nip of the Fino in the fridge...
Oh how cuteeeeee! Is everybody OK?

We had to help our Lola when she gave birth to her five two years ago. We had to cut the placenta on the 2nd and 4th and we didn't know there was a 5th until we noticed she kept trying after we cut the cord on the 4th. She was tired but we all made it. Lots of pics too.

AWWWWW... They are the cutest!

Evening all, been busy, busy, busy. Yuck. Son lost his football game Tons of other kid stuff going on. Hardly time to breathe let alone cook much.

Tonight for dinner creole chicken and rice. Nothing fancy, just creole seasonings and rice with celery, peppers and tomatos. Hope everyone has a good evening.

Yes all are ok. She did it by herself. I did the sweating for both of us. Now that dinner is done I can play with her and the babies.

The chicken strips were acceptable but nothing to write home about. The potato salad hit the spot in the hot weather. Wife added some storm food in the way of a can of small green peas. We sort of took the easy way out tonight. After this all settles and the kitties are put back to bed it is chocolate pie time again. Have a 1/2 pie left for tonight and tomorrow.

Hello everyone,

Tonight was chicken, sweet potato, broccolli and peas - with a little chocolate chip mint ice milk for dessert. I also know there is a box of Pop-Tarts in the kitchen and I'm ready trying to ignore that little fact ... lol.

I'm the same way - and I always feel that if I don't "eat to capacity" that I didn't get my money's worth!

Do you guys remember the Costco chicken I bought Saturday?

There was still a lot left over so it got shredded and soaked in pesto sauce and poured over spinach ravioli! Voila.
Oh and some mixed veggies.

P.S. I got my new bed today and I must go try it out. One of those tempurpedics with the adjustable bottom. I'll be paying for it for quite a while! I better sleep real good.
