Good morning all. Having the chicken that I thought I was going to make yesterday, hope it thaws out in time. It's a whole chic that I am splitting in half and cooking on the grill. I bought some new chicken rub spice yesterday that I want to try on it.
Just love grilled chicken Denise-have you ever tried beer can chicken-it is so very good.
Is that where you jam the open can in the cavity and grill it standing up? Or am I showing REDNECK tendencies? I do live in the sticks and it seems to be rubbing of... I think I might be in trouble if I am sadly mistakin' LOL
The teenagers have a friend staying so that makes 6 big kids to feed! I'm doing another 'stuff-yourself buffet' for them; a pile of soft tortillas and taco shells, with a choice of shredded chicken, guacamole, cheese, veggie sticks and sourcream to fill up with, along with big fat potato wedges.
Meanwhile, the glass of wine and the couch will be mine, all mine!

It's not redneck - it's all the rage at trendy urban bbq's too! I've seen them with their cans of Guinness!! Apparently putting a bayleaf and garlic into the beer can adds to the flavor....
