elston.....sorry to hear you aren't feeling well!! Hopefully it is just a 24 hour bug that will be gone by tomorrow!!!!

Guess what??? I finally unpacked my pots and pans and my kitchen is set up and ready for many good meals to come!!! It seemed to take so long to get settled, but I am loving East TN and am sooooo ready to stop eating restaurant food and start cooking again!!! Tonight I'm fixing pork loin with baked potatoes and corn!! And it should be ready in about 12 minutes!!!

Default And The Dog Looks Cute On The Box

Tonight, I brought home some Raising Cane's chicken tenders, with the great sauce they have. Tomorrow, I'll be eating out and this time, it won't be to go. Where I go has not been decided yet.

Evening all, sorry couldn't get on sooner, hubby was hogging the computer today. Tonight we are having chicken pot pie. I hope it tastes good because the recipe made up two of them and one went into the freezer. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Let us know, please! I love pot pies but I've never made one. I will want your recipe if you are happy with it.

Fooled family with premarinated/frozen shrimp kabobs from Target
...just thawed and stuck them under broiler about 3 minutes
and placed over a bed of brownrice, snowpea, and carrot stir fry.

It looked and tasted professional and took about 10 minutes!!
Son wanted to know where I found the skewers,
husband wanted to know where the shrimp came from...

Then I had to fess up...

Good morning all-Elston and Denise so hope you're both feeling better today.

Yeah BeBette's back in her kitchen and ready to go.

Love chicken pot pie. Amazing here it is end of May and I still need comfort food as it's still cold and yukky here.
