Lillietta, Thank you so much---this sounds really good. The only way I have ever made Swedish meatballs was from a package mix and it sure wasn't that great. I have always wanted to try them from scratch but as most know here about me--I like using a recipe from someone here way over any recipe site or cookbook. I trust it more!!

Do you make this from scratch? Sounds really tasty for this cold weather. Boy, at this rate I'm going to start packing on the pounds!!! I'm actually starting to enjoy cooking again---amazing!!! But only after reading so many great ideas.

Think we're going to do soup and salad tonight - quick, easy, good, and it's going to be chilly this evening.

My BF has Mondays off -- which means he usually cooks up something yummy! Today I think he is doing chicken thighs slow cooked in the crock pot with some delicious sauce. I love how the meat just falls off the bone......

We'll probably have some rice or scalloped potatoes and maybe some broccoli to go along with the chicken.

I am also planning on making lasagna and tacos this week.....

Well it's -30 here with wind chill and actual is -15. So I took leftover chicken dumpling soup out of freezer and for the first time making bread-rye bread.

Have stew meat defrosting for tomorrow and am waivering between beef stew or chili.

Yep, well mostly. I do use canned chicken stock in the soup. There is a great recipe in the America's Test Chicken Cookbook that I use. Bread will be from the bread machine probably.
