Arrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh1, forecast about 20 degrees higher than normal for early June, mid 90s and humid

Lacey's certainly going to get the beach weather she was looking for.

Dinner's gonna have to be something simple and effortless, probably tuna slaad, crackers, and a gallon or so of lemonade.

I'm leaning towards something quick and simple---to hot to even consider any kind of lengthy dinner here. Maybe Macaroni and cheese or tuna noodle casserole. Of course a nice, cool green salad and lots of liquid----

Elston a couple of weeks ago my hubbie and I went to a restaurant and a really busy one at that. There were a couple of Middle Eastern gentlemen sitting behind us.......we had a great waitress who was running her butt off and the men wanted her to stop and take their picture....she was very pleasant to them and told them she would be right back as she had to take somebody's order which she returned promptly to do so. They were insulted and announced very loudly "see, what did I tell you, typical Americans".....they barely left the poor girl a tip.

It's an all about me world we live in. Such a shame.

I have worked and have family who worked in resturants.....many people treat wait staff terribly. They seem to think that because they are paying for their meal that they have permission to be rude, demanding, lecherous, and then on top of that to stiff the waitron! I don't know about other countries-"Middle Eastern" or elsewhere....but all too many Americans who dine out are like that.

Much of the same unfortunately applies in any business where the staff deals with the general public. It's made me a big fan of the sign:

All of our customers make us happy,

Some when they come in,

Some when they leave
