Hey Minnie! Hope you are having a great day!

Elston, that sounds wonderful! We have a huge fig tree here and at the lake house, and they both produce huge quantities of figs.

If you find the recipe, please let me know?

I am finally hitting on most cylinders and am considering scrambling a small pkg of ground beef with an onion and adding it to a jar of red sauce with basil I found in the back of the cupboard. For some unknown reason I have worked my way into a craving for angel hair pasta. Dinner tonight is going to be both cheap and easy.

Hey minnie, I think hamburg and ground beef are the same thing. So there are hundreds of ways to cook it....meat loaf, meat balls, stuffed cabbage, layered in a shepherds pie, spaghetti meat sauce (boulinaisse sauce?) stuffed green peppers, spanish rice....

Ground Beef is the single most versitile meat for cooking anything from casseroles to the famous hamburger. If you give me a couple lbs of hamburger meat and leave me alone in the kitchen.....I could make a lot of people happy day after day and not repeat.

Nothing special tonite - just some baked chicken, maybe some baby carrots and some sort of noodle dish. Oh, and leftover Pineapple Upside Down Cake. I baked that cake and nobody came to eat any!
