its come early this year it seems. could barely breathe out there today in south florida and its not even may. smells smokey too. weather report said to expect the next cool breeze in late october which was funny. i dont hate the hot weather, so i am alright with it but it just seems like we really had no cool weather this year. perfect scenario would be november til mid april in florida and mid april through october in southern california. for all u looking to move here make sure u are ok with or like VERY hot/humid weather for half the year.

OK, it is NOT that bad right now. Give me a break.

Take a look at like all the other states in the southern part of the US....

Hello...it's FLORIDA...

Cmon, find something practical to complain about.

I guess you guys should be in Central Florida instead of South Florida -- must be like 2 different states. We currently have 81 degrees and 36% humidity, not bad at all!

The smoke we had yesterday was from the huge wildfire in Georgia and it was expected we would have more of it today. I don't know if there are fires in south FL or not, but I hope it doesn't get too bad for you.

I'm borderline putting the A/C on but it's not on yet. I'm in central FL.

I'm in Palm Beach County and it's hot, humid and nasty today! Can't wait until November already!

It's not bad yet. It was hazy today but that is from the fires. I was thinking this morning how nice it was out w/out the high humidity. Give it a few more weeks and we'll be sweating up a storm just walking outside to our cars at 7 in the morning. I hate summer...and I am a native of South Florida.

I have to agree with the OP. It's hot, hazy, dry, and smoky in north central Florida today. We haven't had measurable rain in weeks. According to wunderground it is 87 degrees at 4pm. Not as hot as summer, but quite unpleasant today. My eyes burn when I go outside.

We got to 91 this weekend, I have been dizzy and with a headache 1/2 the time. It's back to the constant sweating, destroying clothes in a few months, bad temper and endless punishing tropical sun. Yes we got cheated out of a winter, but if we're lucky won't get cheated out of a massive hurricane. That way we can all suffer (and benefit) together..LOL!
