Recently, I convinced my Mom to move to this area to be nearer me. I am so sorry that I took her away from her vibrant life and exposed her to this death-chamber of a state...

I am not being sarcastic with that. That would be the best of both worlds, so to speak.

My daughters and I want to be together. I would much rather go back up North (which I like) to where they are, than ever tell them to come here.

They wouldn't anyway. They know better.

If she doesn't like it here, her Mom doesn't like it here, they should both find a way to leave together and be where they will both be happy. Maybe that cannot happen right away, but they can work on it.

I dragged my wife and I down to Orlando, and at times, actually a lot of the time, I totally feel like I screwed up by doing so. I brought us out of a nice southeast city to Orlando, so I know how you feel Lushtrees

I have to admit I am not a huge fan of Florida. But South Florida Unhip????? Goodness then I would hate to ask what Orlando, Tampa and Jacksonville would be considered.

Seriously S. Florida Unhip? I agree with hot, humid, but unhip.....you've obviously not been to the majority of the US to think that s.florida is unhip. Perhaps if you are comparing to LA or NY, but that's about it.
