Were they in Winter Park? Or maybe Colonial Drive in Orlando? (Or both perhaps?) I vaguely remember! But I'm sure they closed many moons ago...

I sure do - they were all over south Florida. Sadly, they no longer exist (at least to my knowledge).

There was a Morrison's Buffet in Titusville for many years, it closed about 3 years ago. I never did understand why, the place stayed packed all time....had a really good business going there.

I liked eating in the Morrison's, but I didn't like their pricing philosophy. Everything you chose had a price -- even a pat of butter.

Today, I much prefer Golden Corral. The food is better, the selections are outstanding and they are true one-price, all-you-can-eat buffets.

I fondly remember Morrison's. We ate at several on a trip to Florida in 1973. It was at Morrison's that I had my first strawberry pie. What heaven!

Piccadilly Cafeteria's bought them out. There are some in Florida.

We had a morrisons buffet in Stuart, I remember also going there in the 80's I don't remember when they closed but they were replaced with a chinese buffet. We loved that place-great when you were hungry and didn't want to spend a lot of money.

I think Morrison's has become the Picadilly chain. You can probably google this kind of info.

That's what I said, Ellie!

I googled it and you can find where they are located. Now, whether it is the same as Morrison's, well, I just don't know. When Piccadilly bought them out, they closed a lot of them. There was one in Fort Myers, but was abandoned before I got there.
