My father was a manager there for many years. Shortly after he left, they sold to Piccadilly. Piccadilly closed it doors in Florida not long ago, so it's no longer exists. It's a shame!

This is a quote from Wikipedia regarding Morrisons/Piccadilly: "A large number of the former Morrison's locations outside of Florida and Georgia have since been closed by Picadilly." RIP to Morrison's. We will miss you!

HOWEVER: Ruby Tuesday, which was owned by Morrison's is still open! In fact, there's one here in Cape Coral! Yummy!

Piccadilly's is still around, there are just many that have closed. If you google it, you will find them.

Floridian,
I tried answering your personal message but I am unable to send you a reply. Something about not being allowed to PM you. The Morrison's on I-Drive in Orlando was on the north side of I-Drive about 1/4 mile north of Aand Lake Road on the left side. There was a Hilton hotel right next to it. The Hilton has changed hands and I think it is a Raddison now. The Morrison's was located at the end of a long driveway right next to the hotel. It was easily seen from I-4 but not from I-Drive, except for the sign. The building has been torn down for several years now.

I ate at one of the Morrisons or Piccadilly's in Jax when passing thru there, have no idea where it was. I could not believe all the choices for food and the prices were so reasonable. I remember telling them that I wished they had some out west. I don't eat out a whole lot but when I do, I tire easily of Appleby's and Ruby Tuesdays. I like a nice restaurant with american style menus and reasonable prices so I enjoyed the restaurant in Jax.
