No, it would hurt our economy and be a bad decision. 39 40.21%
I don't really care 14 14.43%

Either way we are still an American city. No passport needed.

Remember if you split any state you would then need to double the amount of politicians.... Never good!

Florida is in many ways a microscopic version of the American "melting pot". You got the deep south (panhandle), small town america (interior of florida minus central-florida), middle-of-the-road America (central florida), the north (south east florida), the midwest (south west florida), the great wilderness/frontier (everglades). All that with a heavy mix of immigrants of nearly all nationalities.

Theres a huge swath of Central Florida that is not urban.
I'm smack-dab in the non urban part right now.

Florida should ABSOLUTELY be split. The more localized government is, the better it can truly serve the people. Other states should be split as well, California (North, South, and Central), and New York (NYC area and Upstate), among others.

Yes, just look how far Tallahassee is from just about everything! Takes at least 5 hours from Orlando alone to drive.

One city passed a resolution that's it and no other government got involved so all it is a idea not exactly any idea just a thought. Like I said get out and vote in good people then maybe we would get somewhere. No matter what region it is people have no excuse for not going out their and doing an American duty.
