Hello everyone!

I just came for some advice. I am a 32 yr old single woman looking for a great place to live in florida, preferably southern florida and definitely on the east coast (I like waves and scuba diving!)

I care about living near the beach, I am not rich and can afford a 2br at about $1,000 a month. So I am lookin for a place that's good for singles my age. Would like to be surrounded by others who are flirty and friendly, so no laid back family orientated neighborhoods where everyone is married.

I do have a kid but he's still really young, so it will be another 5 years before I need to be concerned about schools.

Let me know what ya got, thanks!!

You might want to post in the Ft. Lauderdale forum.

Will you need a job? Now a days that is the driving force on where you will live.

You might try West Palm Beach which would fit your age bracket more so than Fort Lauderdale, which tends to be a little bit younger and also more touristy. There are a good number of rental options in your price range as well.

Default Got it...

Thanks for those replies! I need all the advice I can get to help me narrow down some choices.

I won't be needing a job. I run my own small business up here in VA, and will just restart it down there. Damn the man!
