While I definitely appreciate how many styles of facial hair can enhance or even vastly improve some fellows' appearances and make then look very attractive, even really super sexy looking on some guys, appreciating their bearded appearance from afar is, unfortunately, as far as it could go for me.
I definitely could not bring myself to get up physically close and personal, intimately sensual with a bearded man. That's because my skin is too sensitive and becomes painfully reactive upon contact with a man's facial hair. On any part of my body. And deep mouth kissing or peppering a man's face and lips and neck with butterfly kisses while canoodling is no fun and is pointless for both of us when it's his facial hair that is being kissed (or getting into my nose and mouth) and not his sensual skin.
But yeah, I don't mind beards/moustaches on men who are not my lovers and would not be up for consideration for it.
Depends on the facial structure underneath, and how the beard/mustache shape affects it.
I find my sons scratchy to kiss with beards, but they look nice on them. My husband doesn't grow facial hair very well, but he has a nice face without it.
I prefer clean shaven, but a short very carefully trimmed beard can look good. A well maintained beard is a lot of work and many men won't go to that much effort.
I really dislike the mountain man beards that seem so popular in my area. I always suspect that there are bugs and bits of old vegetable soup caught up in there somewhere.
Yes! I always think there's something hiding in a thick, Duck Dynasty beard (such as my fiance's trying to grow). I prefer mustaches over beards.

I 100% agree. I never could kiss a man with a beard, no matter how much I liked him. The hairy face is just ick to me. Stubble is OK though clean shaven is still preferred. Full on beard is a dealbreaker.
It's not the heaviness, it's the neatness. Most guys have a beard because they are too lazy to shave but a good beard has to be trimmed and shaped - yeah - takes time. Hairy necks look gross.
