I think it depends on the individual store and the area. My local Sears is horrible. I'd put it at low end with Walmart.

It all depends on perspective. My working-class family probably thinks of Macy's as high-end too. They probably think the same about Applebee's, the Olive Garden and Red Lobster.

LOL! Maybe in my opinion because I frequent them more. And you've got to admit, the electronics department at Wal-Mart is pretty darn good!

Middle: Lord & Taylor and Macy's
Middle to Low: JCPenney and Sears
Low: Walmart

I too used to think Macy's was higher, but with all their expansion and what I've seen offered it has changed to Middle in my mind.
