A great suit, that's cut well, made from a fabulous material, tailored to fit the wearer, great shirt and tie, interesting tie clasp, pants that are hemmed correctly, cuffs at the right spot, wonderful shoes... be still my beating heart.

I'm a middle class guy. I've got ripped jeans and t-shirts and tailored suits in my closet. I'll wear them when the occasion is appropriate (more formal events and sometimes to work if there's client contact). Someone mentioned earlier that some feel swamped and uncomfortable. In my case, I have a body type where I don't have a problem getting a good fit. That and the tailoring makes a lot of difference in comfort, so I don't mind wearing them. Another thing is attention to detail like keeping shoes shined and wearing the proper shirt. Since I have the comfort, there's the confidence.

Almost all the ladies' responses on this thread make me consider wearing them more often!

Ding, ding, ding! You are so correct on the "confidence" idea.

And I have an idea the ladies would looove to see you in suits more often!

Since I no longer have to wear a suit every day I enjoy putting one on and going to a nice event, dinner, etc.

Even better, my wife will always compliment my appearance in one.
