I'm an oddie I guess as I am much more comfortable in a long skirt with shorts underneath than in pants. I wear the gym type shorts that are really loose. I've gardened in long skirts and played in the snow when it was very cold in long skirts. Basically, anything I've done in pants I have also done in long skirts. I prefer the skirts.

I've always been more comfortable in pants/jeans. It's rare that I'll wear a skirt.

....because it is no longer the middle ages. Oh and because most of us are not members of the Duggar family.

I think pants/jeans are more flattering to the female form these days than skirts. Plus they go better w/ different types of shoes. Skirts are fairly limiting when it comes to coordinating the rest of your outfit, imo.

I feel more secure in jeans, I guess I've seen too many funniest videos of ladies getting their skirts stuck in car doors, blown over their head, curious children, or other crazy mishaps...Oh and it also makes it easier to prevent rape! lol jokes

I tried the long skirt thing, I kept getting them caught in doors and various other things. It's a nice look if you're tall, i'm far from that so I just gave up.
I prefer shorts and tanks. I work outside on our farm all summer and find them very comfortable. When the weather changes though, sweats, unless I have to go into town.

It is more comfortable, especially in the winter. But also it is getting more difficult to find dresses/skirts unless you want to do the "mini length" and many women don't want to go there. Dresses are just not as prevalent in the stores as they were some years back.

Nothing wrong with a woman wearing a pair of jeans.
