Now that my current routine is due for its 6 week switch I'm re-tooling things a bit.

I'll be picking 1 of these from each list per session. I"m going for minimum 3 sets of 8-12
My goal is cutting and the overall strength gains

press 1
bench press
military press
push ups (high reps)

pull 1
bent over row
renegade row
shrugs

lower
deadlift
squat
lunges
good mornings

press 2
DB flies
close grip bench press

pull 2
cable pull downs
face pulls
clean and jerk

core
BB roll outs
weighted crunch
inclined crunch

iso
skullcrusher
bicep curls
hammer curls
etc. etc.

What do some of you gurus think about this one?

I also run on my off weight days and do pull ups / chin ups at the school playground.

LOL.

Seven exercises while on your cutting routine sounds good. Now that Im down to a pretty good bf% (175lbs at 6' 1") I think its time to go on another creatine cycle to up my strength. I just hate the water weight gain though on it. May try the new kre-alk (sp) type creatine pills.

I'm starting this split today. Its setup a bit different
I'll be doing heavy horizontal and light vertical for day 1. All upper body stuff 2 pulls, 2 presses, then I'll isolate my arms and core.

Day 2 will be lower body
Doing 2 heavy pulls, 2 light presses and some iso work

Day 3 upper
Light horizontal, heavy vertical

Day 4 lower
heavy presses, light pulls.

3-6 sets of 3-6 reps as heavy as I can go, and 3 sets of 15 with the lighter moves.
