^ lol both of those shoes are equivalently hideous
Yes, but one of them makes me cringe and the other one makes me throw up a little bit in my mouth. Especially when paired with jeans or even worse cargo shorts.

The trainers say the person DGAF but the slip ons say the person tried... and failed.
Well flip flops are the epitome of inconvenience for me, but now that I live in Italy I admit I sometimes wear sandals with nylon straps in the summer (which also serve for the rocky beaches).
I don't think short shorts have been very fashionable since about 1985, at least for men.
Yeah, there are sneakers adapted for everyday use and sneakers that look like orthopedic shoes, but then I don't really care what other people wear. Especially here where 55 year old men try to look like youngsters sometimes.
In comparison in France it is already difficult to wear a hoodie past 25 years old, the normal man needs a thin leather jacket with a scarf to look smart, everyday of the year.
Very short shorts are still quite popular in North America, I mean among girls. I still think it is trashy.
I agree a man past 25 shouldn't wear a hoodie (unless he is running for something), although here in Canada it is not rare to see them on people of all age, even 50s and 60s.
In ultra-conservative north America, men wearing a scarf is still largely considered "gay", which is so laughable. I don't know what's wrong with people here. Wearing slim fit shirts and pants (or should I say appropriate sized clothes) is kind of gay too. People prefer clothes 2 sizes up to show their masculinity.
This morning I paid particularly attention during rush hours. about 1/3 of pedestrians I saw were wearing some form of gym shoes/running shoes in downtown Toronto. It is appalling.

Yes, men throughout most parts of North America (USA-Canada) are often obsessed with not appearing gay because of the way they dress. They also often rather viciously ridicule the style of men from other parts of the world where there are no such hang-ups.
Another thing is women who don't dress like women. It's particularly funny when everything above the neck is all dolled up with the hair nicely done and nice makeup, and then below the neck you have an ugly California Raisins sweatshirt, ugly mommy jeans or track pants and ugly white sneakers like on the previous page. It's as if anything remotely feminine-looking = "slutty".
Weird observations in this thread. Doesn't sound like some posters have left the house since the 1980s. Sweet California Raisins reference, though. Was not expecting that.

Lol I'm way passed 25 I wear a hoodie frequently and will continue likely as long as they keep selling them. It's much more casual where I live in California. Chill out dude too many rules.
