Good news. The US will be vacating southern Syria and their base in al-Tanf. Their jihadist rebel militias will be transferring to Idlib governate. Syrian government forces will control the area which will be free of Iranian, Israeli, and American forces.
It looks to still be pending an agreement to relocate the ISIS pocket of some 1,500 militants within the territory controlled by US, Jordan, and Israel who are there under the name of Jaish Khaled Bin al-Waleed.
Russia is damned if it does and damned if doesn't. US coup in Ukraine and invasion in Syria threatened to isolate them more geographically and geopolitically. The world war had come to its doorstep.

Any serious move to embarrass Putin in the weeks ahead can only originate from Ukraine. Donbas is the region to be watched. Preparations have been going on – new supplies of NATO weapons and the arrival of more mercenaries have been reported in Ukraine, which cannot be mere grandstanding.
President Viktor Poroshenko is desperately keen to ingratiate himself with the US and EU when their interest in him is waning. He is deeply unpopular with a rating of 6% and has to face a presidential election in March next year. A flare-up in Donbas could help him reemerge as the “West’s man in Kiev.”
Surely, if Donbas witnesses bloody conflict, Moscow might as well forget hopes of a new beginning with the EU – especially, Germany and France. A groundswell of European opinion may even demand more punitive sanctions against Russia, which will be a boon for the US to reassert its transatlantic leadership at a time when the dull roar of the retreat of Euro-Atlanticism in Europe is audible. Putin is damned if he intervenes in Donbas and is also damned if he doesn’t go to the aid of the Russian-speaking separatists in the region.

I think it's more doubtful than that. We all know just how reliable the US is when it comes to making and honoring agreements. When are we going to get out of Afghanistan? Look at the Iran deal.
The US and EU oligarchs (mainly Soros) have a lot invested in breaking up the pipeline infrastructure of Naftogaz
I don't think the US is going to stop the pipeline deal and the countries involved in these trade tarriffs are already retaliating. All Trump is doing is creating conflict. The EU is getting tired of the shenanigans.

We may be there for decades to come.
As reliable as Russia honors agreements? or even the UN charter?

What are you referring too? The UN doesn't really mean a thing in this world, it's spineless and of no value to humanity.
