[quote=songgirl;8508484]We have become slaves to the banks that initiated the housing fiasco.[quote]

Please research a little more. The Democratic Congress, in this case led by Barney Frank, ( with the intent that low income families should have homes ) loosened up loans to people who were not reliable debtors. Congress encouraged ( through legislation ) even strong armed, banks into giving high risk loans. When undeserving mortgage holders defaulted, the bubble burst. This triggered the economic situation we're in now.

Don't blame banks. Blame Barney Frank and every Democrat in Congress.

Do you even know the proper pronunciation of Faux?
I'm still laughing at the part " Those on the left take pride in thinking for themselves," LMAO...this is from people that would rather have a nanny state.

Obviously some leeway is taken with the pronunciation of "faux"...however, the definition fits...hence, Faux News.

faux

–adjective artificial or imitation; fake

Here's some more on Faux News...

Upton,

Fox is known for fair reporting. Their journalists are real journalists.

Not biased. Period.

To get a job at MSNBC you must sell your soul and commit to the Democratic Party.

Explain to me why a journalist would sell out. Is it because they feel that to get a job they would have to compromise.

It seems that today's media members ( graduates of left wing schools ) couldn't care less about the truth. So they spent money on college and learned how to be slithery, biased liars.

How can these idiots sleep at night?

Just be careful about your news sources.

The article was on the internet, not on Fox News cable.

And your so-called left-wing propaganda channels do not appear to be struggling for viewers. True, the fully indoctrinated right-wing nuts are still too mesmerized to switch channels, but apparently MSNBC (O'Reilly's secret favorite channel, right?) has seen an increase in viewership and in some time slots beats out Fox News' line-up.

first 100 days is meaningless. Let's wait until the end of the year.
That's when i predicted most people will start regretting they voted for the junior senator who knows nothing about economics or business.

I wouldn't say the 1st 100 days are meaningless, in the sense that the Obama Admin has laid out its plan for as far as 10 years from now (budget). They've made it clear that they follow the standard liberal playbook: tax, spend, regulate, class warfare, entitlements, big government, vilify the 'rich,' etc.

I see your point, though, in the sense that many of these policies (which are harmful) have yet to be implemented. Even when plans are implemented, it takes a while for the effects to be felt. It may take longer than you projected (end of 2009) for the consequences of Obama policies to take effect.

While I'd love for your last point to be right (the one about people realizing they were duped into voting for Obama), a lot of people are so hypnotized by him they'll carry the water for him no matter what. So many people voted for him based on nothing and know so little about his plans, that they're unlikely to move against him. He'll keep blaming Bush and they'll eat it up. That said, some have seen the error in their ways and there will be additional people who realized they made a mistake (though less than the number should be).

Most decisions in the first 100 days can easily be changed based on all the things that could happen over the next couple years. I think people are getting a little ahead of themselves.

Ah, yeah, right - surrrrrrrrrre they are.

Get a load of this:

Fox News Bias is Ludicrous

How many people do YOU see raising their hands for McCain?
Does it look very evenly split to you???????

As the commenter says, the folks in the restaurant are LAUGHING at the reporters comments.

FOX News only seems unbiased to you because you happen to agree with their point of view.
