49%-40%...much more in line with the other polls. Obviously, AP is an outlier.

You know it has to be wrong, because FOX NEWS obviously polls more dems than repubs, is conducted by dishonest 18-30 year olds working for ACORN, and trying to make more money by faking poll results, and was hijacked by Muslims. Oh and polls just don't matter. Did I miss anything?

Really?

I guess Battleground, Gallup, IBD, Hotline and F&M are included in that outlier, right?

I just love how Fox News is now a credible source for you. ROTFLMAO

We'll clear it all up and go with RCPs average, which right now has Obama up by 6.8%

I'd say closer to five, considering the apparent outliers of the Pew poll, CBS poll.

I'll agree Pew is probably an outlier just as AP and Battleground are in the other direction.

Of the 14 polls RCP currently lists..11 have Obama up by at least 5%, with 5 having him up by at least 9%. I think 6.8% sounds reasonable.

No remember the other polls were tightening over the weekend until Sunday night. Also as you posted it depends on how the pollsters define likely voter.
