Check it out... or for you Republicans..read it and weep:

"What do you think the nation's economy needs more of right now -- the economic policies of Ronald Reagan or the economic policies of Barack Obama?"

Obama 49%
Reagan 40%.

Not bad here either:

"Do you support or oppose raising taxes on households earning over $250,000 a year and, at the same time, lowering taxes for most other households?"

Support 66%
Oppose 30%.

"Do you think asking the wealthiest Americans to pay more in taxes is a good idea because it levels the economic and social playing field, or a bad idea because it punishes hard work and success?"

Good idea 55%
Bad idea 39%

All this from Faux News...just imagine what the REAL numbers are. The poor pathetic GOP...even Faux News is having difficulty propping them up.

Thanks for the post, Upton. It's a clear indication that many republicans are trying to cut the extremists
from their herd. As my beloved grandmother would have said, "Even a blind pig can find a truffle every now and then."

That's because Faux appeals to only one segment of society...right wing extremist freaks who enjoy being told what to think.

CNN and MSNBC appeal to a different demographic..those of us with common sense..and usually the combined numbers of those 2 stations exceed Faux.

Proving, as if the election wasn't proof enough, that there are more of us than there are of you.

This poll was done over the phone.
I'm sure that the people who answered the questions had an outline of both of the president's economic policies handy at the time.

But I guess it's something to hang your hat on Upton.

Both the Independents and the Republicans favored smaller government and lower taxes.
That is not an issue based poll question but an ideological one. I would rather hang my hat on that one.

Reagan's economic policy (Reaganomics) was never all that popular.. As a matter of fact it had a LOT of harsh critics from the very start. Of course that all changed when it started working, but that is irrevelant...

Republicans can't stand the fact that the POTUS is as popular as he is...It just tears them up inside that the Country is fully supporting him or at the very least awarding him the chance to see if his policies will help improve the condition of our economy. Folks on the right are just in a tizzy.....I love it.

When did it start working? I'm still waiting for it to trickle down on me. So far, all I'm getting from above is crap.

Too bad that it is irrelevant since you claim its from FAUX news, and as all you liberals claim all they do is lie...so i guess the little tidbit you provided means its a lie. Nice try though
