The video was poorly edited and they didn't even bother to normalize the audio. There was no point to it - what was the producer trying to get across?
I'm not sure why you think that this shows Palin in any kind of negative light. All I saw was typical evangelism. I don't have any problem with with anything I saw in that video.

Yes, the video quality was poor. Still are you serious that talking in tongues and the spastic movements are pretty much what goes on in evangelical churches? Damn, makes me glad to be agnostic because again -- that is very weird and scary stuff. It makes wrights stupidy, racism and anti semitism look normal by comparison. And that is no mean feat!
You mean scary like, and nutty as, Obama's church? With the racially-biased "Rev." Jeremiah Wright? You know the one: the preacher who said "God Damn America?" Probably the only protestant minister in America the terrorists approve of. Obama saw fit to stick with this sicko for like 20 years, until press coverage high-lighted the issue...

I'm also agnostic. I don't have a problem with that video because nothing in the video is affecting anyone other than those in the video. Live and let live - I don't care what your religion is or how it operates as long as you're not getting in my face about it.

Normally I would agree with you. But this to me looks....insane. People babbling in 'tongues' and writhing on the floor...then what? Breakfast at Dennys? Weird, weird, weird! I can't understand the mindset, and it does worry me that someone in charge of foreign policy is coming at it with this type of apocolyptical mindset.
Now mind you, I also feel the same way of islamic extremist, and well -- fundamentalists of all stripes. If their belief is so fervert, would they look at starting armegeddon as a dictate from god? Go to the christian subforum and read all about the rapture -- these people are as scary in their own way as al queda. And just as irrational.
