Even the dems who are smart and can see past the candidates are getting tired of the games and dirt and are switching to vote for McCain. Seems like a trend.

I have switched candidates many times. As a matter of fact I still can't figure out which one I despise the most. I am head toward equal loathing and contempt but I am not quite there yet.

True Democrats do not switch parties on a whim. I think your "trend" comment is an exaggeration, possibly wishful thinking.

Aww Twins, don't cut off your nose to spite your face. Don't let Hillary have that much power over you. It's a mess we all have to go through to attain the best end.

So you switch to the party of Karl Rove.

Brilliant.

When John Edwards dropped out, I started debating between McCain and Obama. But since SOME Republicans out there have a habit of annoying the hell out of me with their moronic rhetoric, I'm going for Obama.

Hillary was never an option for me, I have never trusted her and never have felt that she had our best interests. I wanted someone that would not be more of the same that we have had and I guess I have been so disappointed in President Bush (even though I voted for him) I feel that best shot at a positive change is Obama, so he will be getting my vote.
Sassy

I don't think "true Democrats" are switching on a whim.

As far as the Presidential elections go, "true Democrats" could be switching because our party appears to have been hijacked by radicals, just as happened to the Republicans when the Religious Right entered the picture.

I'll still vote for my Democratic Congressman and Senators.
