For those of you who voted for John Kerry in 2004 and John McCain in 2008, why the switch? Obama and Kerry were both painted as the effete "most liberal" tax and spend senators in congress.

I can't see ANYTHING even remotely "effete" about McCain.

Well... Yeah, both of them are extremely liberal, but I don't see much effete behavior in Obama. Maybe my "gaydar" just isn't very accurate.
